The Squid has three parts: head, body, and arms, with both eyes located between the arms and body. It can be found throughout Solisium's sea, from the coast to the deep sea. It is a bioluminescent nocturnal species that is active at night. They are both carnivore and prey, feeding on smaller fish while serving as a primary food source for bigger creatures. It's usually found near Stonegard Coast, around Saurodoma Island, northern Laslan, and Talandre's swamps.

The Kahawai is bluish-silver, and there are blue spots on the back. The flesh of Kahawai is a striking red color. In small fishing villages, Kahawai is traditionally prepared by smoking near a bonfire. It's usually found in the shallow waters of Talandre's swamps, northern Laslan, and in the valleys east of Stonegard.
